Discover the beautiful Grand Canyon area by floating down river on a relaxing smooth water rafting trip. It's the best way to travel for the whole family, including young children.
You can start from the Glen Canyon National Recreation area, which you can access by bus. Embark on a raft on the Colorado River and float past the Painted Desert and a Navajo Indian Reservation. In fifteen and a half miles, you will see incredible scenery and very likely spot some of the wildlife residing here. When you arrive at Lee's Ferry, you will be sorry the ride is over.
Or you can start at the South Rim going the opposite direction, ending in Page, Arizona. This leisurely float will stop on occasion so you can hike on the riverbanks and discover some interesting historic sites. No matter which float you try, you'll be sure to be happy with your adventure.
