When in need of refreshment or a filling meal, you can stop by any one of 9 marinas in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. The marinas are handy for all boaters, and provide places to park and ramps where you can launch your boat. Enjoy the water during your vacation!

All marinas provide launches for boats and also rentals. You can rent anything from a powerboat to a houseboat. Most have gas and boat storage. In Las Vegas Bay, there is a marina that has a campground, plus four others with campgrounds and five with RV sites.

You can call ahead to ensure what you need is available. Not all the marinas have the same amenities. Only five of the marinas have restaurants but almost all have stores or snack bars.

Campgrounds are closed during the summer due to the extreme heat of the desert. You would want to stay close to the water at times like this, anyway. And you will find what you need with a little research before your journey.
